Friday, March 5, Art House Productions presents JC Fridays, a citywide celebration of free arts and culture programs in Jersey City.

The Light Horse Tavern invites you to an evening with artist Frank Messina. As you may know, Messina incorporates cayenne, poppy seeds, pharmaceuticals and shredded poem-fragments into his large, mixed media works. April 1, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York, NY Dante's 'Inferno' read the way he originally intended as part of the Maundy Thursday Vigil. Once again, this dramatic literary event will take place in the nave of the Cathedral, near The Poets’ Corner, with selected Cantos read by honored guests, distinguished poets, eminent translators, visiting scholars including William Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Palma, Frank Messina and others. The Very Reverend Dr. James A. Kowalski, Cathedral Dean, and Cathedral Poet-in-Residence Marilyn Nelson, host the event.
