Legendary composer and jazz musician David Amram and his Quintet (Kevin Twigg - drums; Rene Hart - bass; Elliot Peper - bongos; Adam Amram - congas) perform original and American classics, and accompany Academy Award nominated actor Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire, Man of Steel, Revolutionary Road),  John Ventimiglia (The Sopranos), Bowery Poetry Club founder Bob Holman, and NY Mets Poet Frank Messina, rock legend Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), and surprise guests from the film and theater world as they recite the works of Jack Kerouac.
