March 20, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York, NY Dante's 'Inferno' read the way he originally intended as part of the Maundy Thursday Vigil. Once again, this dramatic literary event will take place in the nave of the Cathedral, near The Poets’ Corner, with selected Cantos read by honored guests, distinguished poets, eminent translators, visiting scholars including William Louis-Dreyfus, Frank Messina, Michael Palma and others. The Very Reverend Dr. James A. Kowalski, Cathedral Dean, and Charles Martin, Cathedral Poet-in-Residence, host the event. April 5, Goodbye Blue Monday, Brooklyn, NY A special evening of jazz and prose readings. Joseph Pasquale will debut and read from his two new books titled, "Liar's Regret" and "The CBA Conspiracy." Frank Messina and Liza Monroy will also be reading from their books.

Sep. 13, Adopt a Platoon Benefit, West Nyack, NY Frank reads as part of the 9/11 Memorial and fundraiser at the Town of Clarkstown Germonds Park Complex. Rockland County Orchestra and Second Helping will also be peforming. Dec. 1, New York City, Cornelia Street Cafe, Frank appears as surprise guest with David Amram Quartet. Debut's new poems. Guest artists join Amram and his quartet with Kevin Twigg, drums and glockenspiel, John Dewitt,bass, Adam Amram congas, Maria Teresa Colamonico percussion. Featured guests are actor John Ventimiglia of The Sopranos .and singer/songwriter Morley Kamen. Other surprise performers will also appear.
